What a day costs
Around $70–140 a day: hostel-style bunk or a campsite, $25–35 on food, and lift tickets that dwarf all of it without a season pass.
Free Park City Transit
Every route in town is free, year-round, including buses to both resort bases and the outlying neighbourhoods. A regional ski bus links Salt Lake City in winter.
Camping and cheaper beds
Jordanelle State Park and the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache forest have campgrounds twenty minutes out; Salt Lake City, forty minutes down the canyon, halves the price of a room.
Free by day
Historic Main Street, the Rail Trail out to Wanship, the Round Valley path network, and free summer concerts at Deer Valley's lower amphitheatre lawn.
