Tele2 Arena and Friends
Djurgården and Hammarby share Tele2 in the south, AIK play at Friends in Solna. Allsvenskan runs late March or early April to early November.
Ice hockey at Hovet
The SHL season runs September to March, with Djurgården and AIK drawing derby crowds. Tickets cost less than football and the arenas are old and loud.
Stockholm Marathon
Held in early June with two laps of the central islands and a finish in the Olympic Stadium. Lidingöloppet, a cross-country classic, follows in September.
Kungsträdgården ice rink
A free outdoor rink in the middle of town from roughly December to March, with cheap skate hire beside it and long-distance clubs skating the archipelago ice.
