Rowing boats, racehorses and Gaelic football — all of it local, all of it seasonal.
Kerry Gaelic football
Club football is played in the town on winter Sundays; the county side's championship runs spring into midsummer at Killarney and Tralee.
Dingle Regatta
Naomhóg racing — crews rowing traditional canvas currachs across the harbour — draws the peninsula's villages in late summer, with the town watching from the pier.
Dingle Races
A two-day horse meeting at Ballintaggart above the town each August, on a tight grass track with the bay behind it.
Surf, kayak and the marathon
Surf schools work Inch and Brandon Bay year round with wetsuits, sea kayaks go out from the harbour, and an autumn marathon runs the Slea Head loop.
