Blasket Islands
Ferry to an abandoned Gaeltacht island with seals on the beach (Apr–Oct).
Trad in a small room
Dingle's session scene is as good as Galway's with a tenth of the crowd.
Getting there
Fly into
Kerry (KIR) at 50 minutes, or Cork/Shannon at ~2 hours.
From the airport
A car is the honest answer; buses run from Tralee, which connects to the train network.
Getting around
The town walks; the peninsula needs a car, a bike or a tour.
