Getting around cheap
Almost every hostel lends bicycles, and the ride to An Bang is flat. Public bus route 1 reaches Da Nang in under an hour; open-tour sleeper buses run south to Nha Trang.
Free by day
Cycling the paddies to Tra Que herb village, An Bang beach, and the riverfront lanes once the heritage ticket booths close for the evening.
An Hoi night market
The lantern stalls and cheap beer bars across the Japanese-style footbridge are where hostel groups converge before the crawl starts.
