Wine bar and bottle shop at 2575 Arizona 89A in West Sedona, with more than 900 wines and craft beers, wine flights, charcuterie and flatbreads. Live music seven nights a week; open 3–9pm Sunday and Monday, 11am–9pm Tuesday and Wednesday, 11am–10pm Thursday to Saturday.

Sedona's original craft brewery, going since 1995, at 2050 Yavapai Drive in West Sedona; taproom with a beer garden and fire pits, open 2pm to 8pm. Live music Friday to Sunday, karaoke Tuesday 8–11pm, hoppy hour 4–7pm, and pizza from the on-site Zen Dough's kitchen.

Shugrue Restaurant Group's Uptown restaurant at 101 North State Route 89A, with a patio facing the red rocks and its own live music listings. It now holds the web address the old Sound Bites Grill used, so search the current name if you are following an older recommendation.

Sedona has been a certified International Dark Sky Community since 2014 and has a city lighting ordinance to match, so once the shops shut the sky is the entertainment. Get a few minutes away from the lit strip of 89A, give your eyes twenty minutes to adjust, and you need no tour and no ticket.

Chef Lisa Dahl's Latin-inspired fine-dining room, built around its red rock views; the reason to come at night is an early table or a drink at the bar while the light goes off the rocks. Book well ahead, because sunset seats go first.
