On the Town Square at 25 N. Cache St, open daily 11am–1am, with live music Monday to Saturday at 8:30pm and a DJ on Sundays. Saddles instead of barstools; it has been trading since 1937 and there is a steakhouse downstairs if you want to eat first.

A block off the square inside the Wort Hotel, with silver dollars set into the curved bar top and streetside windows. Food until 10pm, bar until 11pm, and 21-and-over after 6pm; the adjoining Silver Dollar Showroom books local and regional bands.

The après-ski room at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, trading since 1967 and about 20 minutes' drive or a START bus ride from town. Live music most nights in season, plus a full restaurant, café and market in the same building.

Locals' bar at the foot of Teton Pass in Wilson, about 15 minutes west of Jackson, open since 1942. It is the one place in the valley where the room is mostly people who live here, and it runs live music and regular weekly nights — check the calendar before driving out.

Wyoming's oldest craft brewery, in Jackson, open 11am–11pm weekdays and 8am–11pm at weekends. Twelve taps, cocktails and a full food menu; no reservations, first come first served, so expect a wait at 7pm in July.
