Oxford University Museum of Natural History
A neo-Gothic iron and glass court on Parks Road holding one of the world's most important collections of Middle Jurassic dinosaurs. Free.
University of Oxford Botanic Garden
The oldest botanic garden in Britain, founded 1621, walled and on the Cherwell at the end of the High Street.

Christ Church Meadow
Open grazing between the college and the Thames, free and open daylight hours, with the college barges along the Isis at the far side.
Covered Market
Trading since 1774 between the High Street and Market Street: butchers, a cake shop that ices college crests, and cheap lunches.
