Guided tour of buried 17th century closes beneath the City Chambers, around 28 pounds for adults. Tours sell out, so book ahead.
Dean Village and Water of Leith
Free riverside walk from Dean Village to Stockbridge along the Water of Leith Walkway, roughly half an hour of flat, shaded path.
Camera Obscura
Five floors of optical illusions on Castlehill, about 25 pounds in. The rooftop camera obscura show and terrace are the best part.
