FIESTA SIDE
Where Cornwall goes after dark — bars, live music and the late ones worth staying up for.
Turquoise water and cliffs at Kynance Cove
Newquay
The one genuinely late town in Cornwall, and it knows it: surf bars, stag parties and clubs running well past midnight in summer.
Falmouth
A university and sailing town with the best year-round pub and live music scene in the county, and it stays open out of season.
Harbour pubs
Porthleven, Mousehole, Charlestown and St Agnes all have pubs on the water. Most kitchens stop by nine and the last bus is earlier than you think.
Cornish ale and cider
Local breweries are everywhere and most pubs pour at least one. Cider here is often unfiltered and stronger than it tastes.
An evening at the Minack
Performances run through the season on the cliff at Porthcurno. It goes ahead in most weather, which is why regulars bring waterproofs.
