FIESTA SIDE
Krabi's evening is split across three places that connect badly after dark — the bar strip at Ao Nang, a few sand-level bars on Railay, and a weekend night market in Krabi Town — so choose where you are sleeping before you choose where you are drinking.

Ao Nang beach road and Soi RCA
The main strip runs along the seafront and the sois behind it: open-front bars, cover bands, pool tables and touts selling Muay Thai tickets. It is walkable from almost every Ao Nang hotel and it is where most visitors' night begins and ends.
Railay beach bars
A handful of low-key bars on the sand at Railay West and along the walkway to Railay East, with fire shows after dark and no clubs at all. Longtails between Ao Nang and Railay stop running around sunset, so an evening here means sleeping here.
Krabi Town Walking Street
A weekend-evening night market near the Chao Fa pier in Krabi Town, with food stalls, a stage and seating in the middle of the road. It is about 20 km from Ao Nang, which is the catch — songthaews thin out early, so factor in the ride back.
Ao Nang Krabi Muay Thai Stadium
The local fight stadium a short ride inland from the Ao Nang strip, running card nights on a fixed weekly schedule with ringside and stand seating. Tickets are sold from booths and trucks along the beach road; confirm the night before buying, as the schedule shifts in low season.
Plan the night around the last boat and the last songthaew
There is no cheap late transport linking Ao Nang, Railay and Krabi Town, and the Railay longtails are a daylight service. If you want a late night, sleep in the place you intend to have it; otherwise you will be negotiating with a private taxi at midnight.
