Muay Thai cards run weekly in Chaweng with local and foreign fighters. Tickets band roughly 1,200–2,000 THB depending on how close you sit.

Keelboat racing out of Chaweng in early summer, usually late May or June, with the fleet visible from the beach and a free shoreside village.

The monthly all-night beach party on Koh Phangan, roughly an hour by ferry; boats run late and tickets are sold at the gate.

Village pitches and takraw nets fill from about five o'clock when the heat drops; Maenam and Lamai both have courts worth watching.
