Where Taipei goes after dark — bars, live music and the late ones worth staying up for.
Raohe Street Night Market
Runs 17:00 to midnight by Ciyou Temple. Queue at Fuzhou Shizu for clay-oven pepper buns, then Shi Boss stinky tofu, a Bib Gourmand.
Ningxia Night Market
Compact, old-school and local. Yuan Huan Pien oyster omelette, Liu Yu Zai taro balls and Rong's pork liver soup are the classics.
To Infinity & Beyond
Ranked 35th on Asia's 50 Best Bars 2026. Precise, produce-led cocktails in a small Da'an room. Book ahead, it seats very few.
Bar Mood and Lab
Two more Asia's 50 Best entries, at 82 and 99. Bar Mood builds drinks on Taiwanese produce; Lab is research-driven mixology.
Shilin Night Market
The biggest and most touristed. Worth it for the underground food court: giant fried chicken cutlets and oyster omelettes.
