The blunt end of the city: dive bars, late kebabs, live rooms and clubs packed into a few hundred metres. Rowdier than the rest of Zurich and better for it.

Summer moves outdoors to the shore and the roofs. The bars attached to the river baths are a fraction of what the hotel terraces charge for the same sunset.

A long-running club and concert hall in the centre with a mainstream door policy and a proper dance floor. Book a table or arrive before midnight.
