Kungsgatan 63, the city's jazz institution and simultaneously a club, restaurant and bar. Concerts most nights plus regular club evenings such as Club Soul, which does soul, funk and disco for a 50 kr door charge; it is also a main venue of the Stockholm Jazz Festival.

On Mosebacke on Södermalm, running since 1859 and now a mix of concerts, club nights, bars and the seasonal Mosebacke terrace with the view over the water that everyone photographs. Terrace hours shift depending on whether a concert is on that evening.

Hornstulls Strand 4, by Hornstull metro on the western tip of Södermalm: concerts and club nights across several rooms, with the Capricci, Debaser Nova and Pontonen restaurants in the same complex. The programme is booked a year or more ahead.

An 1863 entertainment hall by Berzelii Park that is now hotel, restaurant and club in one building, and one of the few central places that genuinely runs from breakfast to late. Dressier and pricier than the Södermalm rooms.

Tjärhovsgatan 4, a beer hall from 1908 and one of Södermalm's oldest restaurants, serving husmanskost with a decent beer list. Mon–Tue to 23:00, Wed–Thu to midnight, Fri 11:00–03:00 and Sat 11:30–03:00, with weekend brunch 11:30–15:30.
