The family ski area east of the village: wide gentle slopes, magic carpets and ski school from about three. Quieter than the main mountain.

Sweden's largest waterfall by volume, reached on a half-hour boardwalk loop. Spectacular when frozen, and buggy-friendly for most of the route.

Lift-served downhill trails from June to September, with graded green runs and hire bikes with full armour. Realistically from about eight.
