Trekking, ski touring and a long-distance trail that starts at the railway platform.
Kungsleden trailhead
The King's Trail begins here and runs 440 kilometres south. Hiking season is July to September; the same route is skied in March and April.
Fjällräven Classic
A mass trek of about 110 kilometres from Nikkaluokta to Abisko each August, self-supported and ballot-entered. The finish takes over the station.
Nuolja ski touring
The fell above the station gives lift-assisted touring and a small slope, with a season running roughly December to May and the best light from March.
Torneträsk ice
In late winter the lake carries ice fishing, long-distance skating and snowmobile tracks. Check conditions at the station before going out.
