Ella is essentially one street and you can walk the lot in ten minutes. Kitchens close around 10pm, bars push on later.

Coconut arrack with ginger beer and lime is the local drink. No bar serves alcohol on Poya full-moon days.

Several Main Street bars run acoustic nights through the high season. Ask your guesthouse who has something on.
