A long pedestrianised square north of the centre lined end to end with bar terraces. It fills from about 22:00 with a mixed local crowd, drinks are cheaper than anywhere in the old town, and it is a 15-minute walk from the cathedral.

The riverbank street in Triana, with terraces looking straight back at the Torre del Oro and the old town. Cross the Puente de Isabel II and turn left. Busier and pricier than the Alameda, and worth it once for the view.

A small flamenco cultural centre at Calle Cuna 6 that puts on seated shows with dancer, singer and guitarist and no dinner service. The room is tiny, so book ahead rather than turning up.

Concert hall and club at Calle Torneo 43 on the river north of the centre, running since 2005. Gigs start early by Seville standards and the room turns into a DJ night afterwards; the programme covers rock, pop and electronic.

Cristina Hoyos's museum at Calle Manuel Rojas Marcos 3 runs shows at 17:00, 19:00 and 20:45. The show alone is €29 for adults, €15 for children 6–12, and €33 buys the museum as well — useful if you want flamenco before dinner rather than after it.
