Marbella FC
The town club plays in Spain's lower divisions at the municipal stadium; for top-flight football, Málaga is an hour east. Seasons run August to May.
Winter training camps
Northern European clubs base themselves at the Marbella Football Center in January and February, and some friendlies are open to spectators.
Golf on the coast
Around seventy courses lie between Marbella and Estepona. Green fees peak March to May and September to November, and drop sharply in the August heat.
Padel in Nueva Andalucía
Padel courts outnumber tennis courts here; clubs rent by the hour, lend rackets and will usually find visitors a fourth player.
