Ibiza rewards the frugal — beaches, a walled old town and sunsets cost nothing; the superclubs are the budget killer.
Sleep in Sant Antoni
Hostel beds cluster in Sant Antoni de Portmany, cheaper than Ibiza Town and walkable to the sunset bars. Book by March for July.
What a day costs
A dorm runs €30–60 in high summer and half that in May or October; food €15–25, buses €5–10. Reckon €55–95, roughly $60–105.
Getting around cheap
Ibizabus lines link the towns and beaches for €2–4, and the Discobus runs through the night in summer on a flat fare.
Free by day
The ramparts of Dalt Vila, the salt pans and flamingos at Ses Salines, and the sunset cliffs above Cala Comte cost nothing.
Sunset strip, Sant Antoni
The rocks and bar terraces west of Sant Antoni harbour fill an hour before sunset — the island's default meeting point for solo travellers.
