K League 1 football at the 2002 World Cup stadium in Mapo, with a season running roughly late February to November or December.
Kukkiwon and Bukhansan
Free taekwondo demonstrations at the Kukkiwon in Gangnam; for doing rather than watching, the granite ridges of Bukhansan start inside the city limits.
Marathons and ssireum
The Seoul Marathon fills the centre in March and a second big road race lands in autumn. Ssireum wrestling tournaments cluster around the major holidays.
