WITH KIDS
Two full-size theme parks, a free city zoo and a subway system built for pushchairs.

Lotte World
An indoor park under a glass dome plus an outdoor island section at Jamsil — the wet-weather answer. Suits roughly ages four to fourteen.
Everland, Yongin
A vast park an hour south of the city, with a serious wooden coaster and a drive-through safari. Suits ages six upwards.
Children's Grand Park
Free entry to a zoo, botanical garden and playgrounds in Gwangjin, with a small paid funfair inside. Ideal for under-eights on a budget day.
COEX Aquarium
A large aquarium inside the Gangnam mall complex, handy when it is minus ten outside. Works for toddlers upwards, and takes about two hours.
Subway, fares and dinner
Under-sixes ride free and almost every station has a lift. Han River parks absorb energy; barbecue restaurants seat families early and keep high chairs.
