Bovec's craft brewery and pub, the default post-rafting hangout for guides and travellers. Own beers plus decent bar food.

The Black Sheep on the main square: a straightforward local bar that stays open later than almost anything else in town.

Bovec's best-known inn for a long dinner over local lamb, trout and Bovska cheese, with a garden terrace. Closed Mon-Thu off-peak.

In summer the Bovec campsites run the liveliest late terraces in the valley, full of kayakers and paragliders.

Nights here are river-guide nights: beer, terraces, an early finish. Nobody is clubbing before a 9am put-in.
