The best lakeside terrace in Bled, right on the water at Veslaska promenada. Sunset drinks, Mediterranean plates, closes by eight.

Dinner on the cliff terrace 130m above the lake as the island lights come on. Book ahead; it is the town's big-night-out spot.

Cake, not cocktails. The original kremsnita house stays open into the evening and is where locals actually end the night.

The closest Bled gets to a proper late pub: beer, sport on screens, a young mixed crowd of staff and travellers.

Bled has terraces, not clubs. For a real night out take the 55-minute bus back to Ljubljana, or drive 30 minutes to Bohinj.
