Where Glasgow goes after dark — bars, live music and the late ones worth staying up for.
King Tut's Wah Wah Hut
Small upstairs gig room on St Vincent Street where Oasis were signed in 1993. Bands most nights, tickets through the venue site.
Sub Club
Basement club on Jamaica Street running since 1987. Saturday night is Subculture, the long running house residency. Late licence.
Barrowland Ballroom
Sprung floor gig hall on the Gallowgate under a big neon sign, capacity around 1,900. Worth picking a show just to see the room.
The Pot Still
Whisky bar on Hope Street with several hundred malts behind the bar and a short pie menu. Ask the staff rather than reading the list.
Ben Nevis Bar
Argyle Street pub with trad sessions Wednesday and Thursday from 8pm and Sunday from 8.30pm. Open to midnight, free to walk in.
