Rooftop bar on the hotel at Calle 8 Este with Avenida B, open 15:00–02:00 Sunday to Wednesday and 15:00–04:00 Thursday to Saturday, looking over the old town's roofs to the skyline across the bay. It fills up after dark on weekends, so come early if you want the rail.

The modern city's nightlife street, a strip of clubs and bars in converted houses between the Bella Vista and Marbella towers. It runs later and louder than Casco Viejo and is mostly a Thursday-to-Saturday proposition.

The two nightlife areas are about four kilometres apart and the Metro does not run late enough to be useful for either. Budget for ride-hailing both ways; walking between them at night is not the move.
