Ullevaal Stadion
Home of the national team. Eliteserien is a summer league, running late March to early December, so there is no winter football to catch.
Holmenkollen ski jump
The March ski festival brings World Cup jumping and biathlon, with a hillside crowd that treats it as a national holiday. The tower opens year-round.
Oslo Marathon
Run in September through the city centre, with a half and a ten-kilometre alongside. The Holmenkollstafetten relay takes over the streets in May.
Nordmarka trails
Take the metro to Sognsvann and the forest starts at the platform: free cross-country tracks in winter, floodlit until late, and running trails otherwise.
