Bergen's club plays Eliteserien from late March to early December. The Store Stå terrace is loud; tickets go through the club rather than resellers.

Run in spring around the harbour and the peninsulas, with half and relay options. Entries open months ahead and the field stays manageable.

A September race straight up roughly nine hundred stone steps on Mount Sandviksfjellet. The rest of the year locals climb it for exercise, free.

The classic ridge traverse links all seven summits in a long day each June; on any other day the trails are open and unticketed.
