The things worth doing in Zabljak, from the obvious landmarks to the ones locals actually rate.
Black Lake
Durmitor's icon: a twin glacial lake 15 minutes from town, with a flat forest loop and rowing boats at about EUR 10 an hour.
Bobotov Kuk
The 2,523m high point, five to nine hours return from Sedlo with a cabled scramble near the top. Take a guide.
Curevac cliff viewpoint
Two kilometres out and back to a sheer drop over the Tara canyon: twenty minutes' walk for the biggest view in the park.
Susica Canyon
A far quieter walk on the ring road's western side, into a limestone gorge with a seasonal lake and shepherds' huts.
Tara River rafting
The canyon is Europe's deepest at around 1,300m. Half-day trips leave Zabljak about 9am and usually include lunch.
