Six kilometres from town, with 4.6km of runs — three blue, one red, one black and a nursery slope — served by two double chairlifts and three drag lifts, one of them floodlit for night skiing. The upper lift reaches 2,213m for a total vertical of about 700m.

The town's one international fixture, run each July on the trails around Zabljak; the 2026 edition was on 11-12 July. Distances are 5km, 10km, 21km, 42km and a 65km ultra with 2,950m of climbing, plus a children's race.

Montenegro's best-known canyon, met at Restaurant Jatak on the Savnik side of the massif: about four hours in the water, five hours door to door, EUR 120 per person. It runs from late spring to early autumn and you must be a confident swimmer.

Bikes hire from the national park at EUR 8 a day and the ring road gives 80km of quiet tarmac over the 1,907m Sedlo pass, with gravel spurs towards Susica. It is a serious day out at altitude, not a potter, and there is no bike shop worth the name in town.

Zabljak has no side in the Montenegrin First League and no meaningful stadium. The nearest top-flight club is FK Sutjeska at Stadion Kraj Bistrice in Niksic, roughly two hours away by road, which is also where you would go for any organised sport that is not a mountain.
