SPORT & SEASON
A one-street village with no club of any kind, but two events put it on the calendar: a July regatta it invented, and the start line of a 34km trail race.

Fašinada Cup
An international regatta sailed in the Bay of Kotor around 22 July, organised by Perast's own Sailing Club Lahor with the Porto Montenegro Yacht Club and tied to the village's Fašinada tradition. Open to cruiser classes, J/70s, catamarans and traditional boats.
Boka Bay Trail — the Blue course starts here
The 34km, 2,050m Blue route of the bay's late-April trail race sets off from Perast and finishes at Kotor. Entry runs roughly €46 to €63 depending on how early you register, and there are shorter and much longer courses from other villages.
No club in the village
Perast has no football, basketball or water polo team of its own. The nearest football is FK Bokelj in Kotor, 12km away, which plays below the Montenegrin top flight at the small Stadion pod Vrmcem.
Water polo in Kotor
The bay's real sporting institution is VPK Primorac, founded in Kotor in 1922, Montenegrin champions in 2023/24 and winners of the LEN Champions League in 2008/09.
Top-flight football means Podgorica
For the Montenegrin first division you drive roughly an hour and twenty minutes to the City Stadium in Podgorica, home of FK Budućnost.
