Virpazar is a stop on the Bar–Podgorica line: about nine trains a day, twelve minutes from Sutomore at €1.40 second class, and €1.80 on the fare table from Bar. Buying the ticket from the conductor on board adds €1.

Entry to Skadar Lake National Park is €5 per person per day, and that price includes the visitor centres at Vranjina and in Virpazar.

Park rates start at €3 a day for a tent pitch and go up to €20 a day for a serviced site. Parking is charged separately, from €0.50 an hour for a motorbike.

A national park guide is €40 for four hours or €80 for eight, and the organised birdwatching run to the Pančevo oko reserve is €160 for four hours for up to four people, transport included. Split three or four ways it undercuts most per-person tours.

€1.40–1.80 on the train, €5 for the park ticket, €3 an hour for a single kayak or €20 for the day, and a plate of lake fish for dinner. The shared wooden-boat tour, at around €20–25, is the single line that doubles the day.
