Four- and six-bed dorms inside the Old Town on the Maritime Museum square, with two kitchens, lockers and free wifi. Beds run €18 in April to €50 in August, and it opens 25 April to 31 October.

The toll booths work 7am–8pm from 1 May to 30 September, 8am–6pm in March and April and 8am–5pm from October to November. From 1 December to the end of February they are closed and the climb is unticketed but unsupervised; nobody is allowed on the walls after 10pm at any time of year.

The local Kotor–Risan and Kotor–Tivat services stop on the main road and cost a euro or two paid in cash to the driver, against taxi fares many times that for the same trip up the bay.

There is no beach club worth paying for: the ladders along the Dobrota promenade and the rocks at Muo are free and are five to twenty minutes' walk from the gates.

In May: €18 for a dorm bed, a euro or two for a bus up the bay, nothing to swim, and the walls climb as the day's one ticket. In August the identical dorm bed is €50 and the cable car is €25 return — those two numbers are the whole difference.
