Three venues in one building at Badillo and Insurgentes: main stage, intimate cabaret and piano bar, running a full season of shows through the winter. Open 16:00–22:00 on show days.

Theatre, piano bar and riverside terrace on the Río Cuale at Insurgentes, with tribute acts, jazz, open mics and film nights. Box office and kitchen run 9:00–23:00, the piano bar 16:00–23:30, and the whole place is smoke-free.

Vallarta's first craft brewery, at Lázaro Cárdenas 302 in the Zona Romántica, open daily 11:00 to midnight with wood-fired pizza and a 16:00–18:00 happy hour at 45 pesos a beer.

Club on the Malecón, part of the same chain as the Cancún and Los Cabos rooms. The surrounding blocks of Paseo Díaz Ordaz are where the late, loud clubs cluster.

Lázaro Cárdenas and the blocks around Los Muertos pier hold most of Vallarta's gay bars, drag venues and beach clubs. Nothing much happens before 22:00, and several places run a daytime beach operation as well.
