Estadio Azteca
Club América's home, and one of the loudest grounds in the Americas. Liga MX runs Apertura July–December and Clausura January–May; buy through the club.
Arena México, lucha libre
CMLL wrestles here on Friday nights and Sunday evenings, year-round. Cheap seats are high and steep; no photographs of the wrestlers unmasked.
Mexico City Marathon
Run in August, starting in the south and finishing in the Zócalo, at 2,240 metres. Entry closes months ahead.
Plaza México
The bullring still fills, though the city now permits only bouts without killing; the traditional season falls in winter and the legal position keeps shifting.
Muévete en Bici
Reforma and the historic centre close to traffic on Sunday mornings; bikes are lent free at staffed points along the route.
