Small Maya site at Km 18 of Boulevard Kukulcán, open daily 8:00–17:00; 145 pesos for foreign visitors, 80 for Mexicans and residents. Half an hour covers it, and the iguanas outnumber the people.

Purpose-built INAH museum at Km 16.5 of Boulevard Kukulcán; the same ticket gets you into the San Miguelito ruins behind it. Tuesday to Sunday 9:00–18:00, last entry 16:30, 210 pesos general and 105 for Mexicans and residents.

Passenger ferries cross from Puerto Juárez downtown and from Playa Tortugas and Playa Caracol in the Hotel Zone. The island is small enough to ride round on a rented golf cart in a day; buy at the terminal or on Ultramar's own site.

Submerged sculpture galleries off Punta Nizuc and Manchones, visited by snorkel, dive or glass-bottom boat; snorkel trips start around 58 USD and dives cost more. Visibility and access depend entirely on the weather that day.

The one big Hotel Zone beach with public parking, no hotel in front of it and the CANCÚN letters on the bluff above. Open ocean rather than lagoon-calm, so read the flag before you swim.
