Kenya's two best-supported clubs both play in Nairobi in the FKF Premier League, largely at the Moi International Sports Centre in Kasarani and at Nyayo National Stadium. The derby between them is the fixture worth planning around; venues get switched at short notice, so check the league's own fixture list before travelling out to Kasarani.

The DP World Tour's Kenyan stop, played at Karen Country Club — a par 72 of 6,818 yards laid out below the Ngong Hills and founded in 1937. The 2026 edition ran 19 to 22 February with a USD 2.7 million purse and a 144-player field. Tickets are sold through the tournament site.

Held on 7 June 2026 for its fifth edition, starting at Uhuru Park and running out onto the Nairobi Expressway, with 42 km, 21 km, a 10 km expressway run and a 5 km family run. Entries close well in advance and all categories sold out for 2026.

The Jockey Club of Kenya runs between 16 and 20 race days a year on Ngong Road, and they function as family afternoons out as much as betting meetings, with food, drink and entertainment on the lawns. Check the club's upcoming race dates page before you go, as meetings are seasonal rather than weekly.

Monthly 5 km and 10 km races inside Karura Forest, meeting at Amani Gardens by the River Cafe car park, run with Friends of Karura and Team Jasho. A single season of five races is KSh 2,500 for adults and KSh 1,250 for under-20s, including forest entry, parking, chip timing and refreshments. It sells out: 2026 is full and 2027 entries open on 16 November 2026.
