A one-day adult Trekking Card is €10, or €15 on high-season days. The Train Card, which adds unlimited local trains, runs €22 to €35 a day depending on the demand band. Via dell'Amore is a further €10 on top of any card. Station toilets are €1 without a card and free with one.

The €10 Trekking Card covers the charged Blue Trail sections, the buses inside the villages, free station toilets, park wifi and free entry to CAMeC in La Spezia. The Train Card adds unlimited Levanto–La Spezia trains for €22–35. If you are walking and sleeping in one place, the cheap one is enough.

A hostel in the medieval village of Biassa, 323 metres up over the Gulf of La Spezia and five kilometres from the city — bus line 19 from Piazza Brin, or about an hour and a half uphill on foot. Set up for walkers, and effectively the only hostel bed near the park.

From 2 November the adult Train Card drops from €22–35 a day to €17.30, and the Trekking Card's high-season surcharge disappears altogether. The sea is cold, the boats stop and a good share of restaurants close — but the paths are the same paths and the villages are yours.

Only the Blue Trail between Monterosso, Vernazza and Corniglia and the Via dell'Amore are charged and checked. Every other path in the park — the inland climbs, the ridge routes, the Levanto–Monterosso leg — costs nothing, and Podere Case Lovara on that leg is free to card holders anyway.
