FIESTA SIDE
Bali's night is four or five separate scenes that are nowhere near each other — Canggu beach bars, Seminyak clubs, the Uluwatu clifftops, an early Ubud — so pick one area per evening, and note that the whole island shuts down for Nyepi.
Single Fin, Uluwatu
Clifftop bar above Suluban beach looking straight down on the Uluwatu surf break. Open 08:00–22:00 most days but until 02:00 on Wednesday and Sunday, which are the nights people actually come for; allow an hour's drive from Seminyak.

La Favela, Seminyak
Dinner from 19:00 and a club from 22:00 until late, seven nights a week, in a warren of semi-indoor gardens and ponds on Jl. Laksmana (Oberoi). Book if you want to eat; after 22:00 it is a queue-and-squeeze situation.

Old Man's, Canggu
Batu Bolong beach bar open daily from midday until late, with live music on Wednesday and a DJ block party on Friday. It is the default first stop in Canggu and fills from sunset onward.

Potato Head Beach Club, Seminyak
Beach club on Jl. Petitenget that runs from the afternoon into the evening; daybeds and pool areas work on reservations, so book rather than turn up. Better treated as a long sunset than a late night.

Motel Mexicola
Mexican restaurant and bar open daily from 11:00, with branches in Seminyak, Canggu and Uluwatu; the dining room turns into dancing on the tables later on. Useful when you want food and a night out in one place.
