Parasailing, jet skis and kitesurfing operate from roughly November to March, with surf schools at Ashwem, Arambol and Palolem taking complete beginners.

Goa plays in the domestic Ranji Trophy through the cool months from October to February, and pick-up games fill the maidans and beaches most evenings.
