A research centre and small museum in Súðavík devoted to the only land mammal that was here before people, with foxes in an enclosure outside and researchers who will talk to you at length.

Hólmavík's museum of seventeenth-century Westfjords magic, necropants and all. Grim, seriously researched, and the first thing most people hit coming into the region.
