The island's hostel and camping strip sits on a small south-coast bay, with dorms, bars and a bus into Chora every half hour.

Budget €55–95, roughly $60–105: dorm €25–45 in season, bakery and gyros €15–25, buses and a sunbed €10–25.
Getting around cheap
KTEL buses leave from Fabrika and the Old Port for €2–3; sea taxis link Platis Gialos to the south beaches for a few euros more.
Free by day
The Kato Mili windmills, the Little Venice waterfront at sunset and Agios Sostis beach, which has no sunbeds and no charge.
Where travellers meet
Paradise and Paraga run afternoon beach parties with a low entry or none; the hostel bars fill first, then everyone moves together.
