Checkable numbers: a single ride in zone M is 2.70 €, a short trip 2.10 € and a day ticket 7.00 €; the Deutsches Museum is 16 € and the Olympia-Schwimmhalle 6.90 €. Add food and you are near 35–45 € a day before a bed — and the bed is the number that swings wildly by season.

Zone M covers the whole city including the Olympiapark and Hellabrunn. A single is 2.70 €, the single day ticket 7.00 € and the group day ticket 15.40 € for up to five people of any age — which is the cheapest way to move a group of friends around for a day.

375 hectares laid out from 1789 and free, with 78 km of paths, the Monopteros temple on its hill, the Kleinhesseloher See and the Chinesischer Turm beer garden seating about 7,000. Bring your own food and you can spend a whole day here for the price of one drink.

Free to enter, open Monday to Saturday 07:30–24:00 and Sunday and holidays from 09:00, with the current BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce cars on the floor. U3 to Olympiazentrum. The BMW Museum opposite is a separate 17 € ticket — skip it if money is tight, the free half is the spectacle.
