Brewery restaurant in a former school building at Eerikinkatu 18, open since 1998 and claiming to be Finland's largest, brewing its own beers and ciders on site. Mon-Thu 11-24, Fri-Sat 11-02, Sun 12-22, with a big courtyard terrace in summer.

Beer bar in the art nouveau premises of Turku's old pharmacy at Kaskenkatu 1, fittings intact. Sun-Thu 14-24 and Fri-Sat 14-02, with a long list of beers, ciders, whiskies and spirits; it was named beer restaurant of the year at the Helsinki Beer Festival in 2015.

Riverside summer venue at Linnankatu 40 with live bands most nights it opens. Strictly seasonal and now weekends only, Fri 18-02 and Sat 16-02, closed Sun-Thu, with the 2026 season ending in mid-September; card payment only, no cash.

Karaoke bar and nightclub at Kauppiaskatu 5, on the street and basement levels of an Alvar and Aino Aalto building. Karaoke Tue-Sun 21-05, club floor Fri-Sat 23-05, closed Mondays; K-20 and a door charge from 3.90 euros up to 10 on a busy Saturday.

A converted locomotive workshop at Junakatu 9 by the railway station, now the city's big concert and event hall with several rooms and its own restaurants. Worth checking the calendar before you book a weekend: a Logomo night is a different evening from a bar crawl.
