Brewery pub in an 1877 weaving hall in the Finlayson mill complex at Itäinenkatu 8, open since 1994 and brewing on the premises. Mon-Thu 11-24, Fri-Sat 11-02, Sun 12-23, kitchen closing 45 minutes before the doors, with a beer shop open daily until 21.

The city's main gig venue by the railway station at Tullikamarin aukio 2, running two rooms: Klubi for smaller club shows and Pakkahuone for full concerts, across metal, rock, pop and indie plus DJ club nights. It reopened in late October 2026 after a major renovation.

Pispala's live venue at Pispalan valtatie 39, with a pub and terrace upstairs and the club room below. Open Mon-Thu 16-02, Fri 16-04, Sat 14-04 and Sun 14-02, with bands, DJs and punk nights; a bus or a walk up the ridge from the centre.

Irish pub at Rautatienkatu 24 since 1996, open Mon-Thu and Sun 16-02 and Fri-Sat 14-02, last call 01:30. Weekly bilingual pub quiz, improv comedy nights and sport on the big screen; kitchen closed Mondays.

The Pyynikin craft brewery's restaurant at Verkatehtaankatu 2, with around 20 taps from breweries around the world. Mon-Thu 16-23, Fri 15-02, Sat 13-02, Sun 13-22, kitchen closing an hour earlier, and a terrace in warm weather.
