The city's long-running nightclub and karaoke bar at Maakuntakatu 24, open since 1985 and trading daily from 22:00 to 04:30. Central, so you can walk to it from most city-centre hotels rather than booking a taxi.

A straightforward city pub listed by the Visit Rovaniemi tourist board, serving beers, drinks, snacks and meals in the centre. The sort of place to start an evening before Roy Club rather than a destination in itself; check current hours locally.

Ice bar and snow restaurant inside Santa Claus Village at Joulumaantie 15, about 8 km from the city centre. The 2026-27 season runs 6 December 2026 to 17 March 2027; entry is 35 euros per person and the ticket is valid all day, free for under-2s.

The city's evening alternative to bars, at Lapinkävijäntie 4: Korundi runs a live gig programme alongside concerts by the Lapland Chamber Orchestra. Tickets go through Lippu.fi, and the building also holds the Rovaniemi Art Museum and a cafe.

Plenty of visitors spend the evening chasing the northern lights instead of drinking, and the tourist board treats autumn and winter as the season for it. Be realistic: it needs clear skies, real darkness and solar activity, and no operator can promise you will see anything on a given night.
