THINGS TO DO
Almost everything at Levi is seasonal: lifts and safaris in the dark half of the year, cabin lifts and bike trails in the light half, and only a couple of indoor things that work whatever the month.
Ski slopes and snowy fells at Levi
Levi ski slopes and Gondola2000
The reason the village exists. The 2026-27 alpine and cross-country season was announced to open on 2 October 2026, with a new six-seat Sunny Express chairlift serving a wide new area on the South Slopes targeted for late November, and the FIS Alpine World Cup races in November.
Levi in summer: cabin lift, bike park, fell trails
Gondola2000 and the Express cabin lift run in summer to the top of the fell, with under-6s riding free with an adult. The Bike Park opens on Midsummer's Day with easy to advanced tracks and bikes for hire, and the fell has walking routes from short loops to long hikes.
Samiland
Indoor and outdoor exhibition at Tunturitie 205 on Sámi history, culture and mythology, including reindeer herding and the differences between Skolt and Mountain Sámi. One of the few Levi attractions that does not depend on snow; prices are listed on the site.
Water World at Levi Hotel Spa
The resort's indoor pool and spa complex at Levintie 1590, and the standard answer to a whiteout or a rest day. Note it closes for maintenance during May.
Lapland Safaris day trips
Operating since 1982 with Levi as one of five bases. Winter programmes cover husky and reindeer trips, snowshoeing and night-time aurora outings; spring to autumn they switch to fatbike tours and bike, e-bike and kayak rental. Aurora trips take you to dark skies but nobody can promise a display.
