Levi hosts the opening slalom races of the alpine World Cup most Novembers, on a floodlit black run above the village. Grandstand and standing tickets both sell.

The lifts run from roughly November to early May, with the most reliable snow and returning daylight from February to April. Night skiing runs midwinter.

Lapland's reindeer racing circuit runs through late winter, finishing with the king's races in March — herders' sport, watched by families on the snow.

From June the bike park and fell trails open for downhill, enduro racing and trail running, with the midnight sun making evening riding normal.
