Oandu old-growth forest trail

A 4.7 km loop through primeval forest with lynx and elk sign, starting at the RMK visitor centre.

Majakivi boulder trail

A 7 km figure-of-eight past a 7 m erratic boulder to a 24 m tower over the Juminda peninsula.

Käsmu Maritime Museum

A small private museum in the old captains' school, crammed with salvage, sextants and smuggling stories.

Beaver trail at Altja

A 1 km riverside loop where beaver dams and gnawed stumps are easy to spot around dusk.

Manor-hopping by car

Palmse, Sagadi, Vihula and half-ruined Kolga sit within 25 km of each other. A good wet-weather afternoon.
